Tarpon Time YEE HA!

It seems the tarpon have shown up in Charlotte Harbor. I heard of two caught in the Harbor last week. I have seen a couple roll in the little pass as well as at the boca bridge. We gave it a shot at Pine Island sound last weekend. We saw a couple but could not ever see enough to get a good cast. I am excited about beach fishing for them soon. Here is a great catch from last year.

Manatee Sighting

Manatee sighting at Hideaway Bay Beach Club on Little Gasparilla Island. She was massive and hanging out behind the docks for a long while. Even the Manatees know where to hang out this time of year. The weather has been Spring beautiful on the island. Temperature not too hot, tides are moving and moon is full. It is one of the best times of the year.
